We wanted to position ÈLITE as a juicer, more explicit Gossip Girl for a new generation; hooked on the FOMO of Instagram. So, our entire campaign was rooted in the tropes of the platform, and our creative mimicked the design features of IG Stories.
The cornerstone moment of the campaign was an imaginary party that you’d kill to be invited to.
We assembled dozens of influencers from Netflix’s key markets around the world and flew them to a VIP shoot with the cast in Madrid. The shoot was staged as a lavish pool party where in-costume actors and the influencers were documented partying, mingling, and posing.
All the content was banked, edited, assembled and then posted in a coordinated schedule between Netflix, talent, and influencers, as if it was happening live on a Friday night.
